After spending 6 and 1/2 months in Southern Brasil on ministerial internship, I headed back to Fortaleza to spend some time with friends and my home church. I was able to physically be a part once again of the sweet fellowship and encouragement of this body of Christ during the 6 weeks in Fortaleza, before taking off to procede with the next steps of this season that God has put me in.
Before taking these next steps, I sat down to talk to my pastors about what God had done in and through my life and ministry during the months in Rio Grande do Sul in 2002 and to talk and pray about these next steps into the future. Having my pastoral counsel and Church’s complete approval, they once again sent me for this period in the United States.
My trip to the USA has two main objectives, the first being to divulge the ministry that I hope to be serving in South Brazil by the end of 2023, Lord willing. My perspective is to aplify and multiply my efforts in the Kingdom, through a network of partners, opening up possibilities for their participation in the work the Lord had put me into, through prayer, giving, as well as serve as accountability for me.
The Second objective is to associate with the mission agency - ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism). I have recently concluded my application process and doctrinal examination and have been approved for the New Missionary Orientation classes in July at the mission's Headquarters where the process of approval will be finalized.

During this time in the United States, I have had the privilege and opportunity of sharing with the chuches and families that have supported and contributed, some for decades, with my parent’s ministry. It has been enriching to hear stories of many godly servants. We have reconnected with friends and family, have seen many strong and healthy churches as well others that are quite literal rising up from the ashes. It is exciting to sit and hear of these personal experiences of those who have faithfully lived for Christ, whether it be leading their “common” lives or in other places with a missionary status.

The Lord has also blessed me with some opportunities to share my personal testimony with a couple groups of AWANA kids, youthgroups and young adult groups, as well as individual. In March, I, along with my parents had the opportunity of sharing about different kinds of ministries that missionaries can have with the kids at Foothills Baptist Church in Stayton.

In all of this, God has blessed with many positive responses as they hear of the opportunities that the Lord has put in my life as well as the ministerial plans that I believe to be the God’s will for the future. Continue covering us with your prayers.
Some prayer requests are the following:
the final steps of approval with ABWE
for our health and safety as we travel
for generous and interested hearts in contributing in the Kingdom work
that we might be a blessing to those whom we meet along the way
Some reasons for thanksgiving:
for so many who have been generous in hosting us
for the interest many have had in my ministry
for the opportunities to see and get to know many strong examples of faith, obedience and faithfulness
for the approval at the doctrinal examination.
